Summary : Based on the same character that inspired the blockbuster movie Jeon Woo Chi: The Taoist Wizard, the 2012 KBS fantasy period drama Jeon Woo Chi revolves around the adventures of a mischievous vigilante with Taoist magic powers. In this telling of the Joseon tale, Jeon Woo Chi is played by Cha Tae Hyun, returning to television for his first drama since 2008's General Hospital 2. Lee Chi is a wimpy, unassuming layabout, not exactly anyone's pick for a hero, but when there are bad guys to fight, he transforms into the wizard Jeon Woo Chi. Hailing from Hong Gil Dong's land of Yuldo, Lee Chi has come to Joseon to save his love and seek revenge, but along the way, he gradually and reluctantly grows into the role of the folk hero.

After School's UEE (Ojakgyo Brothers) co-stars as his fiancee Hong Mu Yeon, the granddaughter of Hong Gil Dong. Trapped under a spell, she has lost all memory of her past and become a cold assassin, a chess piece in dark wizards Ma Sook (Kim Kap Soo) and Kang Rim's (Lee Hee Joon, The Queen of Office) plan to conquer Joseon. Baek Jin Hee, Sung Dong Il, Hong Jong Hyun and After School's Joo Yeon also co-star in Jeon Woo Chi.
